At the beginning, we see three men drinking a Guinness beer and then it goes backward. They show the earth, the people and animals' evolution and it’s going really fast. In this ad, nobody is talking, not even a narrator. The only way the actors interact is when they look at each other while they are drinking their beer. There is music during the entire commercial. The music makes the ad funnier and more interesting to watch. It’s also fast like the action and the man who sings with a funny little voice talks about the rhythm of life. The tone of this ad is mostly humorous. A lot of special effects were use to make this ad seem real but it stays really untrue. They use those effects to change the physical apparence of the three men into dinosaurs, elephants, dolphins, monkeys, prehistoric men. At the end of the ad we see this sentence: “Good things come to those who wait”. It is written in capitals letters to attract the viewer and we also see three glasses of beer.On one of these, Guinness is written to remind us that this ad is for Guinness beer. Men and beer drinkers are mostly the target of this ad. The message they try to send us is that they took the time to make it better and better, so today it’s really good. Because we don’t like beer, this ad doesn’t really reach us but if it was a product we were interested in, we would want to buy it.
