Survey Analysis

After we compared the results of the Student Media and Technology Habit Survey, we found that students in Longueuil were the real digital natives. First, we can see that Longueuil students use technology more for entertainment and for personnal use, such as creating websites. At the third question, 33,3% of Longueuil students answered that they use their computer mainly for entertainment, to the opposite of St-Hubert students who are using it for the same reason only at 22.9%. We also realize that computers are really useful to make homework for both schools students, because only 2 people from St-Hubert, out of 48, are not using their computer to do their homework. Following the other establishment, 3 out of 40 are answering the same thing. The majority of ENA students don’t know what a blog is or never use it. On the other hand, all CEM students know what is a blog and 43, 5% of them use this kind of communication. Some of these students have also revealed that they were expert with blogs. Here are some of the reasons that make us think CEM students are the real digital natives, technology flows in their blood.
