The TRUTH About "Belgium"

The author of the website is Lyle Zapato. His name is clearly indicated right under the title of the article, and there is a link on his name, so we can write to him if we want to. But, this link doesn’t give information about his situation. If we go through the website, we can see that Mr. Zapato wrote a message to the readers, but nothing about his qualifications. At the top of the page, beside the links for the blog, the guestbook and the FAQ, we can click on the sponsor’s link. When we do, it brings us to the “Paladin Press” library site. This site neither treats the author Zapato, nor information about Belgium. Also, we don’t know where he comes from. We didn’t see any spelling or grammatical errors. This website is about Belgium. The author tells readers that this country doesn’t really exist and he explains his point of view. However, we can find easily this information. The site was created on January 30th, 1999, and the last update was on August 31st 2008. There are many links on the page, and they all work. This website was probably created to encourage people to change their mind about Belgium. In this way, maybe the author just wanted to laugh at people who would trust that information, or maybe he really thinks this is true and he wants people to have the same opinion. When we look at the title, we already see that this website is full of false information, because he says “Belgium Doesn’t Exist!”, but we all know that it’s a country we can visit. Finally, this website isn’t really appropriate, because there are no reliable sources and no information about the author.
